Ana di Maria
Ana, originally from a picturesque city on the shores of the Black Sea in Romania, now resides in the serene landscapes of Southern Norway. Her passion for art ignited at the tender age of four, inspired by a mesmerizing painting at her grandparent’s house. This early encounter with art shaped her destiny, leading her to pursue a lifelong journey of creativity and expression.
By the age of ten, Ana began honing her skills in art and fashion design at Folk Art School in her hometown. Her artistic path progressed as she attended the National High School of Arts Queen Mary in Constanta at fourteen, mastering various drawing and painting techniques. Further refining her talents, she studied fashion design at Bucharest National University of Arts and worked in the fashion industry for several years.
In a quest to find her unique voice and perfect her artistic abilities, Ana returned to her first love—painting. Her journey took a transformative turn at Milan Art Institute, where she discovered her true artistic self and purpose.
Ana’s work is a captivating blend of Abstract and Realism, inviting viewers into a dreamlike atmosphere filled with hidden elements and messages. Her mixed media paintings incorporate collages, inks, spray paint, charcoal, acrylics, gold leaf, and natural flowers, culminating in rich layers of oils.
Driven by a desire to connect people through art, Ana aims to break down barriers and evoke emotions that lead to spiritual awakening. She expresses love, beauty, liberation, and authenticity in every piece.
Currently, Ana dedicates her time to creating art in her home studio, enjoying peaceful coffee breaks in her garden with her two dogs and cat. She is working on her latest collection, “Whispering Waters,” and dreams of traveling the world to connect with new people and cultures.
