Spring Fragrance

Spring’s fragrance dances on the breeze,
A whispered hymn through waking trees,
Where blossoms bloom in soft array,
And fill the air with sweet bouquet.

The earth, reborn from winter’s sleep,
Releases scents both bold and deep—
Of dampened soil and fragrant dew,
Of violets kissed by morning’s hue.

The lilacs call with perfume strong,
While honeysuckle sings its song.
Each flower’s scent, a fleeting prayer,
That lingers softly in the air.
